Teaching Associate for the Mathematics Support Center and Office of Instructional Technology
Serves as tutor, review session leader, and general Macintosh guru for the Mathematics Support Center. Counsels graduate students (and the occasional professor) from various departments in the use of mathematical techniques in their field of research.
Dick has been involved in teaching some of the Mathematics Department's service courses, MATH 1710, 1105, 1106, and 1110. He is now in the process of re-inventing the department's Instructional Technology Office, with projects including machine emulation for running legacy educational software; collaboration tools for course support; tracking emerging opportunities for the use of technology in student learning
