Provides administrative support for the mathematics graduate program, working closely with the director of graduate studies (DGS). Primary administrative contact for graduate students in the field of mathematics — from the beginning of the admissions process through the completion of their Ph.D. work. Assists graduate students with their interactions with the Graduate School. Provides administrative support for the DGS and the director of TA programs (DTAP). Coordinates graduate student outreach, professional development, and research training activities for the field. Processes and maintains TA appointments and graduate appointments involving grant and fellowship funding. Maintains graduate student records and assists in the preparation of reports on the mathematics graduate program.
