Birgit will deliver the 2020 Noether Lecture at the JMM in January. The AWM established the Emmy Noether Lectures in 1980 to honor women who have made fundamental and sustained contributions to the mathematical sciences.
Tara will deliver the 2019 Falconer Lecture at Mathfest this summer. The AWM and MAA annually present the Etta Zuber Falconer Lecture to honor women who have made distinguished contributions to the mathematical sciences or mathematics education.
