Two Cornell Math Department faculty, Professor Slawomir Solecki and Associate Professor Xin Zhou, were selected for the American Mathematical Society's 2024 class of fellows.
The Fellows of the AMS program recognizes members who have made outstanding contributions to the creation, exposition, advancement, communication, and utilization of mathematics. AMS President Bryna Kra said, "This year's class was selected from a large and excellent pool of candidates, highlighting the many ways in which our profession is advanced."
