Marten H. Wegkamp, Professor, Department of and Department of Statistics and Data Science, Cornell University, has been named Fellow of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics (IMS). Dr. Wegkamp received the award for fundamental contributions to empirical process theory, copula modeling, and statistical learning theory, and for outstanding service to the profession.
