Professor Camil Muscalu named 2019 AMS Fellow

Professor Camil Muscalu has been named a 2019 Fellow of the American Mathematical Society (AMS).

Muscalu was invited to join this year’s class of AMS Fellows for contributions to multi-linear harmonic analysis with applications to partial differential equations and for expository writing in modern harmonic analysis.

The Department of Mathematics would like to congratulate Camil Muscalu on this honor. Founded in 1888 to further mathematical research and scholarship, the 30,000-member AMS fulfills its mission through programs and services that promote mathematical research and its uses, strengthen mathematical education, and foster awareness and appreciation of mathematics and its connections to other disciplines and everyday life.
